Methods I master
SAFe Agile, PRINCE2, Scrum, Lean and Waterfall. Which method fits best depends on the type of programme. A regulatory deadline calls for something different than a digital transformation with multiple interdependent teams.
What I actually do
Leading multidisciplinary teams of 5 to 20+ FTE. Coaching project leads within larger programmes. Risk management on the critical path. Reporting that decision-makers can actually use, not just a status on the schedule.

Domains I'm at home in
MiFID II, CSRD, SFDR, SFR, WTP/NPR, ESG, BCBS 239, GDPR and DORA. I know how the rules relate to each other, where the overlap is and where the work really is. Especially useful when you're not dealing with just one rule but a stack of them at once.
How I work
From impact analysis to rollout and accountability. Working closely with Legal, Compliance and the business to combine regulatory integrity with commercial feasibility. Never a project where these parties only join at the end.
03 — Digital transformation
From data landscape to core systems.
Data landscape modernisation, IT migrations and system integrations. From strategy to implementation.
What I've coordinated
ESG data overhauls at ABN AMRO, enterprise archive modernisation at Achmea, core banking migrations at ABN AMRO Private Banking Belgium. All programmes with multiple dependent systems, tight deadlines and a business that has to keep running in the meantime.
What suits me
The intersection of business and IT. I understand both the architecture and the governance. That saves translation and speeds up decision-making. On both sides of the table, I speak the same language.
04 — Process optimisation
Getting stalled processes moving.
Mapping inefficiencies, finding the root cause of problems and redesigning for lasting improvement.
My approach
Lean Orange/Green Belt certified. Works with BPMN for process visualisation and always validates redesigns with process owners, Legal and Compliance before implementation. No redesign that disappears in a drawer.
Concrete example
At NIBC Bank, mapped and redesigned all business processes across multiple value chains for MiFID II compliance. Including gap analysis, impact assessment and validation by all stakeholders. Result: all processes implemented within the set timeline.
