RegPilot
Based on your Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number, RegPilot determines which Dutch and European laws and regulations apply to your company, and checks per regulation whether you meet the requirements.
What it does
Compliance mapping based on your company profile.
An average SME in the Netherlands falls under 8 to 15 regulations at once. A sports complex with a pool and catering deals with the Working Conditions Act, GDPR, the Licensing and Catering Act, HACCP, fire safety, legionella prevention, pool safety, the Commodities Act, the Municipalities Act and more. Most entrepreneurs don't know this, or do know it but not what the concrete obligations are.
Compliance advice from consultants is expensive (hundreds of euros per hour), doesn't scale and is often generic. RegPilot automates the first part of that advice: which rules apply to your company, and where your potential gaps are.
Three packages in the demo
The demo contains three packages to illustrate what a production version could look like:
- Quick Scan — 2 to 3 core questions per law, broad overview, ~5 minutes
- Extended — full question set plus concrete action points, ~15 minutes
- Full Compliance — everything plus templates and an AI report, ~30 minutes
A deliberate choice: the packages are in the demo, not as a sales pitch on this page. The pricing packages are a thought experiment, not an offer.
User flow
From KVK number to compliance report.
Six steps, about 15 minutes for the extended package.
-
Welcome & package choice
Start the scan or load a demo company. Choose the depth of the analysis (Quick / Extended / Full).
-
Company profile
Enter your KVK number (or let the tool look it up), confirm company name, SBI code, legal form and size. Answer yes/no triage questions about what your company does.
-
Regulation selection
The tool automatically shows all relevant regulations based on SBI code, profile and triage. Refine manually: add what's missing, remove what doesn't apply.
-
Question round per regulation
Per law a set of questions: core (fixed for everyone), sector-specific (based on your SBI code), and optional AI-generated (based on your company description).
-
Analysis
The engine calculates a compliance score per regulation. Critical gaps are flagged as risk. Per item a short explanation in plain SME language.
-
Dashboard & report
A dashboard with overall compliance score, critical gaps and expandable actions per regulation. In the Full package, plus downloadable templates (processing register, RI&E risk assessment, etc.).
Methodology
SBI code as the key.
RegPilot uses the CBS SBI 2008 classification system, the same codes the KVK assigns to every Dutch company. This is the most granular and universal business classification in the Netherlands.
Mapping works in two layers: a 4-digit fine-grained match (SBI 8621 = GP = Wkkgz, BIG, WGBO, GDPR, Wmg, working conditions, NEN 7510) and a 2-digit fallback (SBI 86xx = all healthcare, a broader set of rules). That saves configuring tens of thousands of combinations by hand.
Three layers of questions
Per regulation you get questions from three layers, each with its own source:
- Core (fixed): 298 fixed questions across 61 regulations. Everyone gets the same core questions for the same law. This is the benchmark base.
- Sector-specific (conditional): 27 extra questions that only trigger for specific SBI codes. A sports complex with a pool gets working-conditions questions about chlorine hazards, a GP doesn't.
- AI tailored: at most 1 or 2 extra questions the AI generates based on your company description. Only if your activities contain something unique the standard questions don't cover.
A deliberate choice: fixed questions for consistency, AI only for analysis and additions. Earlier versions let the AI generate all questions per session. The problem: the same regulation produced different questions for the same user. That's unacceptable for a compliance tool.
Status
What works and what doesn't (yet).
An honest state of affairs. Functionally mature enough to show the logic, not ready as a commercial product.
What works
61 regulations in the database. 194 SBI codes with 4-digit mapping plus 82 codes as 2-digit fallback. Three-layer question model working. Live AI analysis via the Anthropic Claude API. Web search for current legal texts. Demo mode with seven mock companies.
What doesn't yet
No real KVK API connection (currently mock data for seven demo companies). No payment integration (packages are clickable but not payable). No account system (saving results for later, multi-user). No PDF export in the mobile version.
